The Electric 911 was displayed at the 2011 California Central Coast Region of the Porsche Club of America's New Member BBQ today. Here, we met the membership and received a great deal of advice on how we can improve the car. Additionally we raised awareness of the project to the local Porsche Community, many of whom have great industry connections. Thank you to the CCCR Executive Board for supporting and inviting us to this event!

In preparation for the 2011 CCCR of the Porsche Club of America's New Member BBQ, where we have been invited to display our 911, the car was detailed and new hood struts were installed. Additionally, the wiring was cleaned up and the battery system was tested. We found two batteries with less than a 12 volt reading, which will need to be addressed. Big thanks to Bruce Bero, of the CCCR, who generously helped us trailer the 911 to the BBQ location in Los Osos.

The rusty metal pan under the batteries in the front luggage compartment was sandblasted and painted.

After a successful meeting with the California Central Coast Region of the Porsche Club of America, and earning their support, we attached the official club badge and sticker to our 911. We also pulled the front batteries and removed the headlights to search for rust. Next week, we'll detail the front luggage compartment in preparation for the CCCR of the PCA's New Member BBQ on November 13th.
